Kinect Hacked to run on PS3

Not really sure why you would want to do this but a hacker/modder has managed to get the Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect to work on the PS3. The modder named Shantanu Goel has released a video demonstrating his pre-alpha code hack for Microsoft Kinect, enabling him to use the controller-free motion sensor as an input device to run PlayStation 3’s XMB and play Killzone 3. According to his website, the code is still in a very early state, with much of it needing some improvements and tweaks.
“The axis performance specially needs lot of tweaking and it works well only while sitting,” Goel wrote. “Putting this out purely as a proof of concept. For the things that I plan to add soon.”
