PSN Down due to Maintenance 30 August
Posted on 30. Aug, 2010 by Freak_c in News, PSN Network
On Monday 30th August PlayStation Network will be undergoing routine maintenance. This is scheduled to happen between 8am and 9pm BST. During this maintenance period you will be unable to access the PlayStation Store or Account Management and will experience difficulty logging in online. So it’s time to play some single player games for a change.
Does this mean that we will be getting a firmware update shortly as well? Usually when the PSN is undergoing a long (12 hour) maintenance we see a firmware update not too long after.
Could this be something to do with the recent Jailbreak PS3 hack? Are Sony banning all the PSN ID’s that have used the hack or have Sony found a way to block the hack? Only time will tell.
Stay tuned to Ps3blog for further updates.
