GamesCom: PSP has sold 62 Million Units Worldwide

WOW that’s impressive, and the scary thing is that I still don’t own one, yet. So when I do get mine that will make it 62 million and one units sold. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) chief Andrew House revealed that global sales of the PSP have eclipsed the 62 million mark, last night during Sony’s keynote at Gamescom. House also confirmed that Sony shifted 9.9 million PSP’s last year, with 20 million units of the handheld platform having been sold in Europe alone to date.
The company also revealed that Digital Comic sales have topped the three million mark, and confirmed that more PSP Essentials are in the pipeline, including Tiger Woods and Patapon. I think I need to get one really soon.
