UPDATE: Mass Effect 2 Coming to PS3 January 2011, Trailer

Yes it’s true! Mass Effect 2 is heading to the PlayStation 3 in January 2011. Announced today during EA’s press conference at Gamescom, by BioWare boss Ray Muzyka. Mass Effect has been one of the games that Sony owners have wanted to see ported and is big news, especially for those who have yet to play the sci-fi RPG. PlayStation 3 owners should mark their calendars for Mass Effect 2’s release in January 2011. No other news yet but I’m sure more will come during this week at Gamescom.

Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 is certainly one of the most desired and rumored games, now we can officially get excited.
