DiRT 3 Confirmed by Codemasters

Codemasters had an interview recently with IGN and they let slip that they are working on Dirt 3, while they were discussing the weather effects of the upcoming F1 2010 game. “One of the added benefits is that the weather system we’ve developed will now become part of the EGO engine so it can feed into all of our future projects such as DiRT 3,” said the game’s chief designer.     Sweet! I really enjoyed Dirt 2. Hope they tweak the online though. There needs to be a penalty if you crash into someone. Too many guys are using destruction derby tactics!

    Yeah. Dirt is awesome!

    The new craze is Ken Block and his six million kilowatt Fiesta, so let’s hope we can have KB action in Dirt this time round.

    I never played Dirt…hmm :P Damn, I need to get more involved in the racing genre! :D Planning to be with Blur and Split/Second on the horizon ;) Not to mention my recent awesome experience with Forza 3…and anticipation for Gran Turismo 5!
