Guitar Hero 6 and Another DJ Hero Coming this Year

Yes more rhythm games are coming out this year, but a bit more relaxed rather than last year. I’m glad to hear about the new DJ Hero game because frankly the current songs are getting very old, DLC included. Seems that CEO Bobby Kotickis also seeing that the music craze is dieing down as he admitted that the market will “continue to compress,” with fewer titles and brands finding success. Activision has “moved from the sell-through of higher-priced peripherals,” and its new plan is for “improved economics on a higher percentage of software sales.” He went on to say, that Guitar Hero “remains the leader in the category with more than 44 million games sold to date,” and that both releases this year would be followed with “a full lineup of exciting downloadable content.” News Source.
