MAG Gets a Release Date

The lucky Americans have known for some time when they are going to get Zipper Interactive’s 256 soldier battlefest. As for Europeans and some other terratories we have been sucking our thumbs waiting for the date. Well thankfully a SCEE community manager recently confirmed the game’s release dates for a few territories on the official PlayStation forums. According to the forum thread created by the Sony rep, the game’s coming to Europe on January 27, Australia and New Zealand on January 28 and finally, to the U.K., on January 29. Now that is incredibly soon, will it draw enough people away from tee other huge online shooter? News Source.

I’m on the fence about this one. At first it was a must buy, but now that I’m strapped for cash I might just wait for BF:BC 2 which is looking really good.

Like we South Africans will ever be able to experience 256 people in an enjoyable (or playable for that matter) online manner…
