First premium avatars released for European region ps3 owners

Well, seeing as there is quite a bit of buzz around this whole new premium service stuff we’re beginning to see, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have released the first premium avatars to ps3 owners at what is supposedly very cheap prices. Call me silly but I don’t really see a point in paying for a silly avatar no one really cares about in the first place… Then again I also thought the same about spending money in Playstation home. Nevertheless, they have been released at 20p (or €0.25) each, you’ll now have the choice between a selection of fourteen new Premium Avatars, each based upon the highly popular LittleBigPlanet title.

Come to think of it, this whole Little Big Planet craze has earned quite a bit of dosh in the stores already so it wouldn’t surprise me to see how well this turns out to be. Source
