Rumour: Sony negotiating with Mozilla

We all know that the PS3 has some distinct advantages over the rivals, and one of those in particular is internet browsing from the console. Having said that, for those who use the PS3 as a browser you’d know, that although it’s a nifty feature, it doesn’t always work 100% and misses a few features you find on your average pc browser. Good news however, it seems Sony are in talks with Mozilla over a possible port of their highly successful internet browser Firefox.

Now this of course is only a rumour as it stands at the moment and I’m pretty sure all involved would be pretty tight lipped about the subject. So as it stands there is no solid proof around the story, but as updates go, this would be rather big, and I’m sure everyone will be holding thumbs hoping to hear some good news out of this at the end of the tunnel.
