God of War collection delayed

I can just hear the despair going around when the word “delay” is mentioned and rightfully so. It seems, according to a mass email from Amazon to all those who preordered the game, that this eagerly awaited collection has in fact been delayed. Here is the email sent to those who preordered from Amazon:
Hello from Amazon.com.
We have received new release date information related to your pre-ordered video game in the order you placed on XXX 2009 (Order# XXXX). The release date for the video game listed below has been changed by the publisher, and we want to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:
“God of War: Collection”
Release date: November 17 2009
Well, according to me, this is no train smash, a week is not a bad thing at all for anybody. The suspected reason for the delay is the fact that Modern Warfare 2 releases at the same time the collection was due for release. Can you blame the developers for the delay? Source

Good thing this won’t affect our local release dates? Still got no listing on either Take2 or Kalahari.

We are only getting it next year sometime. Check Take 2′s more US store and get it there for like R470. You can’t pre-order it, but once it’s released you can. Thats my plan if I have any money left
