God of War collection gameplay footage!

Posted on 28. Sep, 2009 by robdutchmonkey in Games, News, Video

Who’d ever have thought that one of the biggest PS2 franchises would hit back on it’s son the PS3 to become one of the biggest PS3 releases of the year. Yes, the ‘God of War’ collection is just around the corner. And with new features such as trophy support and much more crisp and clear visuals, it certainly looks as if it’s a recipe for success, even for those who played the series back on their PS2’s. Apologies for the sound quality of the video, but otherwise if you can bear with it, or just switch the volume down, the visuals look stunning. Source

Hopefully they notched the Titan and God difficulties down a little, because those were insane on the PS2.

(I’m speaking on the assumption that you will need to complete the game on those difficulties to get the platinum trophy)

Its coming to us and Europe next year or so I heard. Only the US will get it this year. Get it from Take 2, R500 including shipping, from their more US store.

I think the confusion over the region locking stems from the fact that the games were originally ps2 games… They have been re-done into ps3 games, so technically it should be the same as all other ps3 games 99% of which are region free, Buzz quiz tv being the only exception I know of… If there’s DLC coming for it, you might have an issue as DLC tends to be region locked, however I don’t foresee much for the collection in all honesty.

I’m sure we’ll all know the exact details closer to launch date
