Modern Warfare 2 guns list revealed

Some more news out for the Call of duty fans out there, seems an “official” list of weapons in the game has been released… Whether these include the multiplayer weapons is uncertain, however, I myself doubt that all these listed are in multiplayer as it would be quite retarded using a riot shield… The list introduces quite a few new weapons, however there seems to be a disappointingly low amount of smg’s as well as sniper rifles available. We already know that for multiplayer, some COD4 maps will be returning, does that mean we can expect a few of the weapons not on this particular list from the predecessor returning? I hope so… List is as follows: Source

    i reckon the riot shield should be in the multiplayer version! i was looking at uncharted2 multiplayer vids and it looks like they’ve added a shield of sorts…

      There are shields in Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 multiplayer, it restricts you to just a handgun and slows you down, so its well balanced.

      Theres an M82. Theres another list @ modern warfare 24/7, If you put the two of these together you get a pretty good list of stuff.. BUT, I’m not advertising. It’s in the game, so is the M40. And I think u can put silencers on Snipers now.

    i think that this is gay. there is no m40 and no r700. barret .50 is not on the list and aks74u if these arent on the list infinity ward are big retards. also i think there should be silencers for snipers this is a ongoing debate that i think is stupid. they think that snipers wouldbe overpowered but it take off there range and damage and sense there is a heartbeat sensor or whatever if they point there gun at where they think they are it will show there heartbeat if its there wont it

    well this is a load of ballony unless its not the “offical list” because there is only 2 snipers surely there is more? trust activison and infinity ward to add in new contents and forget about the original stuff. If this is offical looks like us snipers will have to like it or lump it :( . not to mention there is no SA80/ L85a2 which is a shame. * yo “Cod4addict do you really think a silencer on a sniper would really affect the range? the maps aint that big (hence how its possible to kill with a pistol from the other side of the map, provided no obsticles) , now if we was on about battelfield that would be different.

    Remember, where we listed the guns, that was the info given at the time and I’m sure is subject to change all to get the interest and talk going :) I think I remember saying I’m sure it can’t be all the guns as there’s too few, will have a look to see what I can dig up

    this is not the full list. you will find out the wepons when you play the game. dont try to rush us we are still makeing the night vision goggles… they can see up to fifty feet away preorder the prestige edition now.
