Infinity ward “Headhunting” COD4 hackers

Posted on 03. Aug, 2009 by in Games, News

Infinity ward are aware of the latest annoying hack issues on the PS3 regarding ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ and are still on the prowl for gamers who hack the game. Big up to them for even caring to bother with Modern warfare 2 around the corner. However I believe hackers might become more frequent on COD4 when the new game releases, but who cares anyways because we’ll all be playing that I suppose.

The news comes via their twitter where IW employee Robert Bowling posted:

“Doing some late night headhunting on PSN and Xbox Live. Taking down gamertags / PSN IDs exploiting the COD 4 UFO hack.”

Please do report all cheaters and any player abuse to Sony, regardless of which game you’re playing. When doing so PLEASE remain calm. Abusive reports do no good and you risk being ignored or reprimanded by Sony. Being calm is the best way to address this situation. Report HERE

Glad to see they doing this. Hacking is pointless and cheating is even worse!

IW doesn’t care that is why they are taking their sweet time in patching. Hack been out for over a week and still no patch. Not to mention return of god mode.

they have put out a patch now, because my friend does them :( and he said that he could not do the thing where you go to options then quit options. so we all can stop worrying the “ufo” thing is over once and for all!!!
