Top Selling PS3 games for 2009

So we are more than halfway through 2009 and gamasutra has compiled a list of the top 5 selling games for each console in the US. For the most part the list is what you would expect for all three consoles with the exception of UFC 2009 Undisputed showing good sales on both the PS3 and X360.
It is awesome to see a new IP making a list that is dominated by sequels or seasonal releases and as we said in our review of the game, well done to Yukes & THQ I for one am glad that this game is getting the attention it deserves.
The top selling PS3 games in the US this year are:
- Killzone 2
- Resident Evil 5
- Street Fighter IV
- UFC 2009 Undisputed
- MLB ’09 The Show

No surprises, except maybe the low number of units Killzone 2 sold in the US. I thought it would do at least a million there.
Oh and did they include bundeled software sales?

Yeah, I expected more as well.
As for the bundles, it doesn’t expressly mention that the games are not bundled, but Wii Sports is not on the Wii list so I would assume that it does not include bundled software.

I hate Number 5! with a passion!!! Hate sports!
Anyone else notice that the rest of the games are Killing games! fighting etc? We Americans love our killings!
