VidZone Launching Today in Europe

Posted on 11. Jun, 2009 by in Mods, News

Europe beening the key word, but we can pray that South Africa gets included into this cool new feature for the PS3. Sony’s free streaming music service, VidZone, with an enormous amount of content available right away. It will offer around 10,000 videos at launch, and Sony promises much more is on the way. Check out the Vidzone website for more information.

The PS3 service will include tracks from major artists like Fatboy Slim, Pussycat Dolls, Pink, and Black Eyes Peas, along with bands on independent labels, concerts, and behind the scenes footage. You can use your PS3 to play, pause, and rewind the service’s streaming music videos. You’ll also be able to create music playlists and create your own audiovisual library.

So it’s like your very own personal MTV. Check back here tomorrow when I’m sure we will see a video of it in action hit the Interwebs. News Source.

Does anybody in SA even have the bandwidth free to “waste” (I mean I would rather spend my precious bandwidth downloading demos or games or even playing online?) on watching music videos?
