Red Alert 3 Demo Coming This Week

So this game is finally going to grace us with its RTS awesomeness. It is actually getting released next week, and previously we posted about the features and a demo coming soon. Well it is soon now and the demo should be on the PSN this week.
EA has confirmed via its official website that RA3′s PSN demo will be available this Thursday. The demo is a single-player campaign containing the game’s cinematic opening, two missions (one from both the Soviet and Allied sides) and an interactive tutorial. So prep up the war room and get ready for some RTS battles.

No word on the size of the demo? I’m keen to download it but I have already used 5GB this month, damn Killzone 2, lol!

If you are, your aware that you get local bandwidth for free? Shhhhh keep it hush hush. Basically you load up your download manager on the PS3 with everythang on the PSN store. “make sure to pause all downloads” coz u don’t want it downloading on ure international account.
then… when ya get capped on your international you should still have local access (coz you get free local on Tel**m) go2 ure ps3 download manager and hit unpause all. Now sit back and smile and download to your hearts content, baring in mind if you have 3gigs international you will have 30gigs local free.

Give ya an idea, I downloaded 30gigs in one day from the Playstation network on my 4mb line. Qore episodes, demos, trailers etc etc – I have a SA PSN account, US, UK and JPN.

Unfortunately not, we and PS3ZA are both hosted internationally, it’s to expensive to host sites locally.
This is what I do, I have to accounts with Tel**m. I use the one until it’s capped then d/l off my head with local. When I’ve finished d/ling or pause them I switch to my 2nd account and use that one, only top up once I’ve reached cap on both.

You can download things from the PSN without being with helkom. I do this by buying local only gigs from axxess at R12 a gig.
I do the same thing as setup your download list on the ps3 (starting all of them with Int cap and then pausing them) Then I simply add the local only account details into my router and then start the downloads and presto, they download

Should be good. I’m gonna get the demo and see if it’s worth the full game. Especially with regards the controls which I still have some doubts about.

I think it will have the same control set-up as the 360 which isnt bad. Not as quick to use as I would like, but not bad
