Want Cash for Home? Collect Trophies

Supposedly there was a meet and greet in Home hosted by Locust_Star and CydoniaX and also they brought in Tdog. It was posted on the message of the day within Home, that Home users should all meet in the Central Plaza between 8-10pm (eastern). The three developers took questions from the crowd and had this to say:

The release date for home is Dec. 15th or the 30th…they said it is definite. There will be random weather, there will be a money system. you earn money from collecting trophies. and you will get money for the trophies you already have. Right now there is a censor on swearing, but will be taken off in the full beta. The open beta will also be 18+ only.

Some Home users have called this fake, you see the developer Locust_Star had two underscores. Locust__Star. Not Locust_Star. making him false? So for now I’ll consider this a rumour. Unconfirmed until it’s official announced. Still sounds like a great idea… Trophies for cash, awesome! What you guys/gals think?

    Trophies for cash works for me. Any idiot that spends real money for stuff in HOME is, well, an idiot.

    @6846 So it doesn’t make sense to use trophies to buy things in Home?

    So you would prefer to use your hard earned cash to buy virtual clothing… and your current trophies you have collected have no real value. Okay interesting ;)

    Great idea. It’s really the only way Sony could compete with Microsoft’s Live. It could bring in more buyers of the Playstation. Gives them a really good reason to game on. Hope it’s true, especially since I’m a level 5.

    This would be an awesome idea, I am a huge skeptic when it comes to Home but this may give it some more meaning…

    Now you can walk around and easily see the ‘real’ gamers…
